Description

NuYou Aesthetics and Weight Loss is looking to bring on a part or full-time nurse or phlebotomist. This position has a lot of flexibility and room for advancement for the right person.

The phlebotomy role includes initial and final medical weight loss lab draws and vital signs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient service by ensuring comfort and addressing concerns during procedures.
  • Perform specimen collection and processing, including venipuncture and blood sampling, while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Monitor and record vital signs accurately to assist in patient care.
  • Utilize knowledge of physiology and medical terminology to communicate effectively.
  • Assist in laboratory procedures and techniques as needed, ensuring high standards of clinical practice.
  • Stay updated on dermal filler applications and related procedures to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
  • Phlebotomy: 2 years (Required)
  • Current nursing license and/or phlebotomy certification
  • Strong patient service and care skills
  • Proficient in specimen collection and processing, including venipuncture and blood sampling
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology
  • Experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with vital signs monitoring
  • Understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques, with relevant clinical laboratory experience
  • The ability to perform dermal filler procedures is a plus
